Hello world!
Welcome to my Blog,
During the following weeks I will be posting the weekly highlights of my experience living in Savannah. I come from Guatemala, in Central America, and even though I’m used to a different lifestyle it was time for a change. I graduated from a bachelor in architecture now looking for a bachelors in painting. Yes, its a 180 degree turn in my career but I’m more than happy with my decision.
So, fun facts so far about Savannah:
1. Cars will absolutely stop when your trying to get by(or that’s what they want you to believe)
2. Everyone is interested to know why you choose Savannah, and want to show you around.
(I had a lady in the grocery store who practically did the grocery shopping for me. She took groceries in and out of my cart as she pleased, telling me her life story and recommending me the best products and places in town. I know have a month’s worth of food in my fridge. As soon as I got out of the store another lady wanted to offer me a ride home, and even though I told her I lived half a block away she was kind enough to walk me home and help me with my groceries.)
3. It rains. No. It pours with out any warning.
(This is a reminder for my self to always carry an umbrella, but first I have to buy one)

Hey Ana,
That’s cool about the ladies helping you. Those experiences are the best. Hope you got an umbrella and like the picture you posted!

Haha that is such a sweet experience in Savannah! And I definitely agree with the rain. Myself bought an expensive umbrella but somewhat always stand under the rain without it since it’s damn hard to predict!
