Savannah House Pattern

As I walked through the neighborhood  and Looked at patterns, I saw my self in a big maze of patterns, the houses, the windows, the chimneys, they all seemed to me that had a certain pattern and rhythm.

I wanted to create a certain pattern that could be used as a fabric print.

So this is what I made.

Savannah Numbers

Savannah Alphabet

Bobbie’s Dinner eavesdropping

Jack & Jill

Jack and Jill.

So, some comments about the group project with DJ and Jasmine,

1. People liked our lay out, woot woot!

2. People didn´t really understand the whole comic book middle panel.

3. We went rouge because Dj was blind, so the wording kinda didn´t match. lol.

4 Little Squares went out to play

Some squares got naked,

some got stuck in traffic,

some got stuck in the closet,

some went out to play,

some grew and some flew away.

What a busy day little squares.

50 things walk

You will have to scroll down to see this one… so take the path you like, follow the squares and go into the madness of this walk..

squirrel heaven, back allies, and front porches

So after this lovely walk my phone decided to become a professional diver and took a dip in the toilette.

I dare you to ask me for my phone.

Ink final piece

So this is my final piece with ink.
I am quite content with how it turned out.. But, before i tell you the comments I must tell you about the off days I have been having.

So i lost my ID card, the kitchen knife, a pair of scissors, a bra and my phone all in 48 hours.

Found the scissors in my raincoat. I’m expecting to find things in the most random places in the next days.

So the comments were:
1. it looks like a puzzle piece, or a mouse, or something out of space.
2. It something that you can´t stop looking. (success on the focal point)
3. Its a piece to get trippy with. Ha!

Patterns and Lines

So this is the process of the new design assigment, started off with a simple geometric form, then repeated enough times to create a pattern and from that we had to choose the negative and positive space we wanted to single out. Some weird things started to happen here. Hang on for the end result and critique comments.
